In the wake of the 2020 election contest which former President Trump contends was rife with fraud, the American Greatness Fund is launching the Election Integrity Alliance.

“The Election Integrity Alliance will unite groups and efforts across the nation focused on combating election fraud and will build solutions and provide resources to state legislators and the public on challenges to free and fair elections,” attorney and former counsel to President Trump Jenna Ellis told Just the News in a written statement. “The Election Integrity Alliance will be a centralized hub that gives tools to enact meaningful change for the American people,” said Ellis, who hosts a podcast with Just the News.

Ellis is the chair of the Alliance’s national board, while Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and former Trump administration adviser Peter Navarro will both be honorary co-chairmen, according to a press release. Former New York police commissioner Bernie Kerik will be among the board’s members.

The newly announced effort comes in addition to other pushes for election integrity and as Trump maintains that the 2020 contest was tainted: “The Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020 will be, from this day forth, known as THE BIG LIE!” Trump said in a statement on Monday.

Heritage Action for America earlier this year “launched its first-ever state advocacy campaign to secure and strengthen state election systems, with an initial investment of $10 million and a commitment to devote whatever funding it takes to accomplish its goals,” according to a press release. The Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society has engaged in election integrity-related litigation.

“Election integrity is a hallmark of freedom and should be a non-partisan, wholly American value,” Ellis said. “The Election Integrity Alliance’s mission is to support Congress, the state legislatures, and the voters and together, continue building a more perfect Union,” she said.

Trump Spokeswoman Warns: No ‘Next Election’ Without Repairing 2020 Contest

The U.S. has to “fix” what happened in the 2020 election otherwise there’s not going to be a “next election,” said Liz Harrington, former President Donald Trump’s spokeswoman, in a televised interview.

“When all these Republicans and RINOs (Republican In Name Only) suddenly start pretending like they cared about election integrity, it’s always the next election,” she said. “Well, what the base is focused on, what the average American is focused on, regardless of your party if you were paying attention during the election, what you were focused on, is we can never allow this to happen again. And we have to fix what happened in 2020 or otherwise there’s not going to be a next election,” Harrington told One America News Network’s Natalie Harp on Monday.

“Really, all this talk now of election integrity and stopping H.R. 1, stopping the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, isn’t that an admission that something was wrong on Nov. 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7? All the aftermath and all the rigging and all the cheating that went on — that is an acknowledgment that the system that the Democrats and their allies in big tech put into place [that] they’re trying to make permanent,” she said.

“The best poll was Election Day, seeing the turnout and really the best truth because we know these counties like Fulton County in Georgia, Wayne County in Detroit, in Phoenix, Maricopa, in Allegheny, in Philadelphia. We know they’ve been crooked for decades, but the turnout on Election Day made them take it to a whole different level.”

And in a Monday tweet she noted: “They’ll call it an ‘election’ but it won’t be in any real sense. It will be a Fake Election like 2020, whatever predetermined outcome Big Tech, Media, the Uniparty want — no matter how many real voters stand in their way We won’t let it happen!”

Meanwhile, Trump told Newsmax on June 25 that he’ll make an “announcement” about 2024 “in the not too distant future,” adding that “you’re going to be thrilled” with the election results that year.

“I’ll be making an announcement in the not too distant future,” Trump told Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.” “Right now, I’m helping a lot of people get into office, and we’re fighting the deep state, and we’re fighting [the] radical left. They’re after me. They’re after Rudy [Giuliani], they’re after you, probably. They’re after anybody. They’re vicious. They’re vicious, and they don’t do a good job and they’re very bad for the country… But I’ve been fighting them for 5.5 years.

“I think you’re going to be thrilled” with the results of the 2024 elections. “I think you’re going to be very happy. We want a little time to go by, maybe watch what happens in [2022]. We’re giving tremendous endorsements … and some people go up 40, 50, 60 points.”

Federal Election Agency Drops Language Banning Voting Equipment That Connects to the Internet: AP Report

Published

on

In the aftermath of 2020, election integrity is on every good conservative’s mind.

All around the country, state legislatures are stepping up (and Texas Democrats are stepping out) to make sure that every legal vote is counted and that our elections are safe and secure.

Naturally, these efforts have garnered primarily negative attention from left-wing media.

What has not been publicized anywhere near as much was the fact that the federal government was doing the same thing — but now isn’t.

According to The Associated Press, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission prepared draft guidelines on election security in February that did not include language banning voting equipment with internet connectivity.

The EAC does not have binding authority, but some states apply federal guidelines to the letter, meaning the commission’s words have a real impact on American voters.

Unfortunately, the ban’s absence in the February guidelines does not appear to be a mistake. The AP reported that voting machine industry officials had private meetings with federal regulators, and the change came shortly after.

You would think that the voting machine industry would have a vested interest in ensuring that its machines are safe and secure, but evidently, for some, election integrity can burn at the altar of profit.

It’s not important if online evildoers hack voting machines and alter results if the executives make their money, after all.

Fortunately, Free Speech for People, a left-wing nonprofit, has filed a lawsuit against the EAC alleging the commission violated transparency rules in its meetings with industry leaders.

Susan Greenhalgh, speaking for the group, told the AP that the commission was supposed to include the public in every step of the regulatory process.

“Instead, the EAC brazenly flouted its legal obligation to adhere to a transparent process, choosing instead to invite the manufacturers into private meetings so they could alter the voting system standards to ease requirements and benefit the manufacturers,” she continued.

The AP said the lawsuit was filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Washington.

EAC officials defended their new guidelines, asserting that under the new rules, any feature that allows a voting machine to connect to the internet “must be disabled.”

The previous rules, they determined, put an undue burden on voting machine manufacturers and significantly increased their expenses.

I’m no computer whiz (my approach is usually to scream at technology until it works), but something doesn’t feel right about all of this.

As a voter, I am much more comfortable with the notion that any machine I use is fundamentally unable to use the internet. I don’t want to be the person whose voice is smothered by hostile actors.

While this wouldn’t affect all states, the ones in which it would concern me. Evidently, I’m not the only one. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose reassured his constituents last month that his state would be taking a stronger stance.

OHIO SECRETARY OF STATE FRANK LAROSE SAID HIS STATE’S VOTING MACHINE STANDARDS GO FURTHER THAN THE U.S. ELECTION ASSISTANCE COMMISSION’S, WHICH DIDN’T BAN WI-FI CAPABILITIES @FRANKLAROSE @EACGOV HTTPS://T.CO/VHAGJWSCMG PIC.TWITTER.COM/H7P7PT4804

I hope the lawsuit succeeds. Our elections are not something in which we can cut corners.

Purple Heart recipient, GOP Senate candidate wants to know why Twitter flagged his July 4 post

Published

on

APurple Heart military veteran and GOP candidate for a Nevada Senate seat is questioning why Twitter flagged his July Fourth post as “potentially sensitive content.”

The tweet includes a picture of candidate and retired Army Capt. Sam Brown in uniform and saluting with the message: “On July 4, 1776, America was born. On July 4, 2021, we’re still the best country on this planet” and “Freedom isn’t free.”

Twitter has blocked access to the picture until viewers click on the tag: “The following media includes potentially sensitive content.”

Brown, whose face was severely burned and scarred from an IED explosion while deployed in Afghanistan in 2008, on Wednesday tweeted back: “Hey @Twitter, I didn’t realize my face was ‘sensitive content.”

“Ironic considering I only have 3 tweets & just filed to run for U.S. Senate only hours ago. Was it my scars or the fact that I salute the flag? Regardless, neither are going away – and neither am I.”

Brown is challenging incumbent Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto.

He told Fox News: “While I was ready to lay down my life in order to protect freedom of speech for my fellow Americans, Big Tech today decided that they know better, censoring me and deeming my comments regarding this great nation ‘Sensitive Content.’ “

Twitter did not respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

“These egregious and un-American actions come mere hours after I took steps to file and establish my candidacy for the United States Senate in Nevada, reinforcing my belief that ‘Big Tech’ is working against conservatives and trying to silence our voices,” Brown also told Fox News
