New Jerseyans called out Joe Biden on Afghanistan and said, “you leave Americans behind!” during his tour of Hurricane Ida’s damage in New Jersey.
Sky News covered the moment locals heckled Biden:
During a longer clip from CSPAN, a woman could be heard saying, “My country is going to s— and you’re allowing it! And I’m an immigrant and I’m proud of this country! I’d give my life for this country. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.”
Another man can be heard saying, “All this for a f— photo-op? You ain’t gonna do s—!”
Biden wandered around the street during his visit, greeting locals but there are still Americans trapped in Afghanistan desperate for help.
This is an effort to do anything to distract from the mess in Afghanistan. Biden wants to turn the page but Americans are furious with him for leaving people behind.
