Violent clashes erupt between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel protestors in Times Square

Violent clashes erupted Thursday between pro-Israel and pro-Palestine protestors in New York City’s Times Square.

Video footage shows violent skirmishes. The New York Postreported that police made multiple arrests and that people from the two factions mostly had left the area by 7:30 p.m.

Following more than a week of deadly conflict in the region, Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire on Thursday.
