The Issue: President Biden’s response to the school shooting in Nashville, which killed six people.
Kudos to Miranda Devine, who so tactfully describes the insensitivity of an incompetent president as he failed miserably to soothe a nation’s pain (“How can Jokin’ Joe jest of school slayings!” March 30).
Imagine President Ronald Reagan faced with the same situation. He would instill in us a sense of mutual support and empathy, while Biden manages to divide us with his ignorant and inappropriate comments.
Biden is a very poor and deceitful leader.
Biden’s response to reporters’ questions about the Nashville shooting underscores how chronically ineffective he is as president and, by extension, how there is a complete lack of leadership in this country.
It is quite apparent that he and his fellow Democrats are incapable of solving our nation’s problems, much less comforting the people.
The joker-in-chief has shown time and again that he hasn’t the intelligence or the moral character to lead this great nation (cognitive issues aside).
He, his administration and their media allies continue to lie to the American people so that they can push their anti-American progressive agenda.
As a result we are a nation in decline, no matter how funny Biden thinks he is.
Every time there is one of these heinous shootings, the first thing I ask myself is: Is the shooter an NRA member? So far, I have not been able to find one who is.
I ask the same question every morning when I open The Post and read that the police have arrested someone suspected of murder, and the answer is the same.
Biden addressed the shooting of six innocents. But on this solemn occasion, he first had to make jokes about how much he loves chocolate chip ice cream.
His message was the same as always — we should make what he refers to as “assault weapons” illegal. Taking guns from responsible gun owners is not the answer.
Three innocent children and three adults were senselessly murdered by a transgender killer, and all Biden can talk about is ice cream?
Biden proves once again that he is patently unqualified to be president, saying that the only reason he came to the White House was that he was told there would be ice cream.
No remorse for the fallen. Perhaps because the killer was trans, Biden wants to change the subject. This man is an insult to his position.

The Issue: President Biden’s criticism of Israel’s plan to give the Knesset greater control over the Supreme Court.
President Biden and his team of foreign-policy specialists are criticizing Israel for its now-postponed judicial reforms (“Bibi tells Biden to butt out,” March 30).
While compromise would be preferable to many in Israel, the government is within its rights, being democratically elected, to legislate change of the judicial system.
Biden should understand this, as he gave serious consideration to a much more radical overhaul of the Supreme Court through adding Supreme Court justices, all because the court tilted right. Beyond treating Israel as a vassal state, the hypocrisy is appalling.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the United States should mind its own business when it comes to Israeli affairs.
I, for one, think that is a great idea. Think of the billions in US aid the country will save.
