FDA authorizes Pfizer vaccine for youth ages 12 to 15

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Monday authorized the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to be utilized in youth ages 12 to 15.

Advisors to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are slated to meet on Wednesday to recommend how the vaccine should be utilized within that age range, and the inoculation can be administered after the CDC director signs off on the recommendation, according to the Washington Post.
