Baker Mayfield’s wife Emily Wilkinson said the couple experienced a “reset” after recently attending a faith-based marriage conference with fellow NFL couples.
Emily took to her Instagram story this past weekend to share a glowing review of their time at the 2023 The Increase conference with Pro Athletes Outreach (PAO) — an organization whose mission is to “unite a community of pro athletes and couples to grow as disciples of Jesus and positively impact our spheres of influence.”
Emily shared a photo of a beach setting near the ocean, and gushed over the couple’s week-long stay at an undisclosed location with the PAO community.
“Had the most incredible week at @paocommunity_,” Emily wrote, adding a white heart emoji. “Every year, Baker and I make it a priority to go to PAO, a faith-baed marriage conference for the NFL.
“It is so fulfilling, and such a nice reset in our marriage, not to mention a perfect time to connect with other like-minded couples in the NFL. (And SO fun!)
“If you are an NFL, MLB or NHL couple, I HIGHLY recommend looking into this – it’s the best thing you’ll ever do for your marriage. Already signed up for next year, and we cannot wait.”
Emily did not share photos of her and Mayfield at the event, or reveal which pro athletes were present with their significant others.
The soon-to-be-free agent quarterback and the beauty influencer tied the knot in a stunning Malibu ceremony in July 2019.

“As we continually seek to point the pro athlete community to pursue a life that looks more like Jesus, we focus on fostering discipleship in the form of yearly conferences, seasonal bible studies, women’s gatherings, and local events,” the PAO website states.
The website also features photos and videos at past PAO conferences with fellow NFL players, including Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Other videos show former NHL center Mike Fisher and Washington Nationals outfielder Alex Call.
Pro athletes are welcome to attend The Increase whether they are single, dating or married, and must register online.
On Monday, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that the Rams are interested in bringing back Mayfield after signing him during the 2022 season following his release from the Panthers — adding that the 49ers and Buccaneers have also expressed interest in the former No. 1 overall pick.
Mayfield made his Rams debut in a comeback win over the Raiders on “Thursday Night Football” in December — which included a 98-yard game-winning drive.
It came three days after Mayfield was released by the Panthers and subsequently claimed off waivers by the Rams.
At the time, Mayfield asked to be released after learning he was not in Carolina’s quarterback plans going forward, and the sides mutually parted ways.
