Dr. Li Meng Yan was interviewed by Tucker Carlson on Fox News about her claims that the Chinese government had intentionally constructed, and released the COVID virus.
In 2020, Yan had previously told Fox News that the Chinese government had intentionally created and released the COVID-19 virus.
The motivation behind this move, the doctor explained, is that the Chinese government had wanted to “destroy Western economies and elevate their own position globally.”
Yan was a highly respected doctor at the Hong Kong School of Public Health. Her specialty was virology and immunology, and when the pandemic had hit in 2020, she started looking and studying the growing cases and transmissions in China.
After reporting her finding to her supervisor in January 2020, he had allegedly tried to quiet her by telling her to “keep silent and be careful,” he had also told her “don’t touch the red line” in reference to the Chinese government because according to him they “will get in trouble and be disappeared.”
“Maybe for people who don’t have this kind of biosafety lab three or four [years] experience on coronavirus, maybe it’s easy for them to accept the accident lab leak. However, I’m a scientist, working in [a] research lab using coronavirus,” she said. “And I can tell you, based on the print protocol and also the other surveillance system, it would be impossible for the lab leak [to] accidentally happen in such [a] lab and cause the Wuhan outbreak and also the pandemic.”
She went on to explain that the initial outbreak within Wuhan was accidental, but the spread of the virus was very intentional.
“However, I don’t think the outbreak in Wuhan was intentional. I would say it was because [the] CCP government and the military scientists underestimated the transmissibility,” she explained. “That’s why finally it got out of control and the cost [was] a local outbreak. However, we should know that [the] CCP government intentionally let it go all over the world to kill millions of people all over the world later.”
The doctor had fled China in 2020 when she said the Chinese government had started targeting her. She has warned that the virus was a bioweapon made by the Chinese government. She had also gone on to claim that many of the officials at the World Health Organization (WHO) had chosen to help China promote the COVID-19 cover story.
This comes at the same time that the United States Energy Department concluded that the COVID-19 virus had most likely originated from the Wuhan lab.
